Yet More Character Pics

Asabiarn! I realized that I didn't have a picture of him and then I just felt horrible for the young one! LOL This is him. Sorry the picture isn't the greatest, its the best I could find of the child I wanted.

This is Yileke. She is an important character that we shall see later on in Brono a Cuil. I cannot tell you much about her now except that she is from Rhun, is deaf and an identical twin to Nareke. Both sisters are brown-haired and hazel-eyed.

Nareke is the twin sister of Yileke. She is bold, blunt and doesn't like to be pushed around. Her sister is much more gentle-tempered and this is part of the reason Nareke is so hot-tempered. She is from Rhun and along with Yileke, we shall see more of her in Brono a Cuil.

Brono a Chuio

meaning: Survive and Live. The fourth installment in the Dragons of Arda series. I hope this one will be as good as the three I have done before it. :)

Summary:

Two different lives. Two difficult pasts. Two reluctant journeys that will soon become one.

In the northern mountains of Ered Mithrin a shape-shifter and a woman travel... Alagos has avoided the Rishten for most of his life, but now finds he can't escape the bond-pull or the person it is insistently trying to connect him to - Gwelutarien. He's run from his past for so many years and held on to bitterness for so long...is he even capable of finding peace or forgiving? As the shape-shifter grows closer to his destination and fulfilling a demand given by his gift, it is inevitable that he will soon find out.

In Gondor, Minas Tirith... Kahilnar has never been more confused - or scared, though, he won't admit it - in his life. The dragoness Sharpmist has revealed to him a bond between them that he despises, a bond that his people would kill him over if they knew. The Haradrim princess, Nusayya, has given him a 'gift' that only brings him further pain as he struggles to to understand what it tells him and why he suddenly has it. And if those two situations were not bad enough; his own younger brother is out to kill him for the right to the throne, a right that Kahilnar doesn't even want. Caught between his family and the Northerners, the enemy of his people, Kahilnar has to learn very quickly to trust those around him...no matter how foreign that trust feels.

And to the East... A dark menace, as yet undetected, blooms slowly like a flower after the rain, stealthily stretching its arms over the land and suffocating all in its path....

Rhûnic

This language is much like the language of Harad in its pronunciations, but does have a flavor all its own. The Rhûnic tongue is complex and has evolved over time, taking on certain characteristics of the languages around the land of Rhûn. There is some Haradaic that the Easterlings have made their own and even dashes of elven mixed into their tongue.

Most of this language is ENTIRELY MADE UP by me, while other smaller bits are taken from the Arabic language. If there are any words you recognize it is most likely a coincidence or the result of mild studying on my part. LOL

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nikryrq = Sand lizard

Rovin(a) = Great Teeth (the Rhûnic name for a dragon)

Jaryn = Halfbreed - A human loyal to a dragon, an insult literally meaning "Half-dragon". It is unsure which people, the South or the East, started using this word first

Jarkirn = Halfbreed - An insult to humans, deprived from the root word "Jara" meaning "half". The literally translation for Jarkirn is "Half-human"

Roniysr = Heart of the People

Al-Salyha = Scepter, Kingdom of the Scepter (Eastern Kingdom)

Ar-Hihn = Warrior, Kingdom of the Warrior (Northern Kingdom)

Ak-Jnab = Falcon, Kingdom of the Falcon (Southern Kingdom)

Ab-Gribyl = Guard, Kingdom of the Guard (Western Kingdom)

Bryn = Hot

Baya = Fiery

Gleritar = Singing Forest

Bik Grov o Dolo = Wild Trees of Shadow

Ceplina = Swift River

Rocnai = Family

Nahiysa = Shy One, Special One
